For the added benefit of authors, there are no publication charges for Complex Systems. A set of 25 reprints is also provided free of charge for papers published in Complex Systems.

Papers submitted to Complex Systems should present results in a manner accessible to a wide readership. For guidance about issues of style, please consult the sample paper that appears in the first issue of every volume of Complex Systems. The sample paper is also available for download in Postscript, PDF, and LaTeX (complex-systems.sty required) formats.

Please note that papers in the TeX or LaTeX formatting system will be processed most quickly. Mathematica notebooks and other common document files are also acceptable, but papers sent in formats other than TeX and LaTeX will require longer processing times due to extra typesetting requirements.

Papers can be submitted by email to submissions@complex-systems.com. Mail attachments should preferably be in an ASCII format since nonstandard, platform-specific binaries may not be decipherable by Complex Systems.
